SPIRITUAL PRACTICE

Come to the Centre
Our second retreat was due to take place this July (2020) but for obvious reasons this is unable to happen. The retreat was to be rooted in the "Gospel According To St John" and, in particular, the call back to the Source of all being. In place of the physical retreat, we  offer here some practices to use individually, as a body of practice or however is pertinent to you now.

                                                                                                                                                           “IN THE BEGINNING”

Jesus said: “Have you found the beginning then that you ask about the end? The one who stands at the beginning will know the end. You must come back to the beginning. The one who knows the beginning will not be destroyed by death; she will live.” Thomas -
In these days of fear, polarisation and uncertainty about the future for individuals, societies and our environment; what might it mean to stand at the beginning, and live; to have an internal stance at the fountainhead of life within and draw from this deep inner source of life, love and wisdom in the way we live our lives?

In the following materials, we will explore this theme, making particular use of the mystical teachings of the fourth Gospel, whose author stood so close to Jesus that he, or she, was described as the “beloved disciple”.
